Win a family pass to Life
Life has introduced some major new additions to its science centre this summer – from the 4D Motion Ride with its blasts of water, smoke and smells to the Curiosity Zone with its playful exhibits, there is something to keep the whole family entertained for the day!
The 4D Motion Ride is the only one in the North East, opened in June, you can see, hear, smell and feel the action as it unfolds on screen thanks to special effects such as water spray, wind, smoke and smells coupled with moving seats and 3D films.
The current Hover Chase film will be replaced by Speedzayolo from August 13. The new show will take riders on an action packed chase through a futuristic city as a love-sick pizza chef tries to catch up with the object of his affection! A Dracula-themed ride will be shown in the autumn with Santa’s Sleigh Ride scheduled for the festive season.
‘The Curiosity Zone’ is a collection of hands-on exhibits intended to give all visitors, young or old, permission to play, experiment and ask the types of questions scientists do, such as “What happens if.... ?” and “If I put these things together, what will it do?”
In addition, Life has live science shows, hands-on exhibitions, the region’s largest planetarium and science demos to keep the whole family entertained for the whole day! Check out the website for a free child admission voucher.
