WIN A Pair of Tickets to see Jesterval shows: Brendon Burns, Chris Washington and Gav's Sitcom
Closing Date: 18 July 2018
WIN A Pair of Tickets to see all of Wednesday’s Jesterval shows, including Brendon Burns, Chris Washington and Gav’s Sitcom on Wednesday 18th July from 7:15pm at the Live Theatre ( Newcastle Quayside).
Chris Washington : You Beauty
In 2017 a Wigan postman used all his annual leave to bring a show to the world’s biggest arts festival and was nominated for Edinburgh Fringe Festival Best Newcomer.
A true ‘you beauty’ underdog story. Chris has now been seen on Live from the BBC and also supported Jason Manford on tour.
Brendon Burns: Mansplainin’
Brendon Burns, host of the internationally acclaimed ‘Dumb White Guy’ podcast and Edinburgh award winner, has spent the last four years focussing on race. Now he’s set his sights on gender. Clearly masculinity needs a bit of a trip to the woodshed. Man up fellas, he’s gonna rough you up a bit.
Warning! May contain graphic and explicit material that some may find offensive but, upon consideration, most will find to be perfectly reasonable and entirely morally defensible. Plus – may contain peril and fantasy spiders*
*Contains no actual fantasy spiders and the peril is mild
Gav’s Sitcom: Episodes 2 and 4 Double Bill – ‘I’ve Got A Job For You Gav’
After the success of the premiere of Episode 1 and 2 being shown live, Gav has decided to show Episode 2 again (cos loads of people who wanted to see it didn’t get the chance) and a first ever live screening of Episode 4 on a double bill.
Please note: our bar takes cash payments only.
