A Roman Trail of South Shields

@ Arbeia Roman Fort and Museum

Book Now

22 April 2017

The march will depart from The Word at 1pm and arrive at Arbeia Roman Fort at approximately 1.30pm

It is free to attend, places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Step back in time as we march from South Tyneside’s newest heritage and cultural venue to its oldest.

We’d love to see all ages joining our three Romans as they make their way through South Shields to their spiritual home and base on the Lawe Top.

Why not get in the spirit by dressing as a Roman? Remember it can be quite exposed on the top of the hill so make sure you bring a coat.
