Exhibition of prints in the Theatre Foyer.

Self taught artist, Andy Thirlwell, takes his inspiration from the magnificent landmarks of the North East where he grew up.  After leaving school, Andy spent many years in the printing industry learning all about colour and colour mixing.

After being made redundant 15 years ago he re-trained and has ran his own successful Painting and Decorating business ever since.

Now with 2 grown up children Andy has more time to spend painting landscapes rather than ceilings and walls!

Art has been his main hobby since school and now works from his home studio in Gateshead.

He uses skills picked up over the years and combines Airbrush Art and Traditional Acrylic Painting Techniques to achieve paintings which really stand out.
