Set in the late Victorian era somewhere in the wilds of North-East England, this is far from being the Shakespeare tale, but is no less dramatic. A young woman is forced into a loveless marriage in which she is bored, used and observed. Like the servants, as a woman she is regarded as dispensable. Into this soulless scenario appears an opportunity to turn the tables around into a dark and disquieting story of passion and fury, which hurtle into a series of shocking events.
