When Annie’s husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade fellow WI members to pose nude with them for an “alternative” calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer, Lawrence.

Based on the true story of eleven WI members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund, Calendar Girls has since become the fastest selling play in British theatre history. Please come along and support the play and all monies raised will go to Cancer Research.

The Diverse Theatre Company consists of a group of students with a range of abilities… this is their second production.

One show only! Monday 26th June, 4pm. This one hour show will make you laugh, cry and fill you with hope…please support us and Cancer Research.

Adapted and directed by Michelle Lindsay-Baharie.
