This year’s Festival will have a French theme.

It will begin on Thursday September 21 with an organ recital. At lunchtime on the Friday guitarist Matthew McAllister will play, and that evening the Newcastle based choir Voices of Hope will appear.

Saturday evening will see the Festival Chorus perform a number of French works, including Fauré’s Requiem.  Later that evening Nikki Iles and Stan Stulzmann will be playing jazz. Finally, on Sunday, Martin Hughes and David Murray will play a lunchtime concert.
