Help us celebrate an alternative Roman Valentine celebration.

The origins of the Lupercalia Festival are linked to goats, shepherds and wolves.

With lots of family activities exploring these themes there’ll be lots of different things for you to see, do and make.

  • Make a wolf mask to wear and scare
  • Discover the origins of the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia from the roving Roman storyteller
  • Create a coin to celebrate the founders of Rome, brothers Romulus and Remus
