A ghoulish audience with two of the most infamous poisoners in British history is on offer to visitors at the Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum.

The deadly doctors William Palmer and Harvey Crippen will be brought to life in a special performance of ‘Murder by Gaslight’ at the museum on Sunday 13 November, from 1pm. Presented by Don’t Go Into The Cellar! – a Victorian theatre company with bite – ‘Murder by Gaslight’ invites the audience to encounter the murderous men of medicine as the diabolical doctors regale you with their case histories and invite you to judge for yourselves whether they were in fact, guilty as charged!

Tickets for ‘Murder by Gaslight’ are now on sale, price £8.50 which includes light refreshments before the performance. The performance is most suited to adults and children over 12 and tickets are available from Reception by phone or in person during opening hours – Wednesday to Sunday 11am – 3.30pm.
