Theatre Foyer Exhibition

Northern Perspective is an exhibition which reflects the life experiences which are part of culture that we call the north.  This exhibition represents a tapestry of life in the North East past, present and future

The exhibition is composed mainly of hand produced limited edition intaglio etchings, which represent the artist’s life experience here in the north.

Having lived and worked here all of his life the culture is woven into the artist’s existence and his impressions cover work and the environment in shipyards, coalmines, glass works, foundries and engineering works, that were and are part of the life of our area and its history and people.

Godfrey’s unique style is also used to good effect portraying the landscapes, cities and dramatic environments that characterise our area.

We hope you will enjoy this exhibition and reflect upon its contribution to what is part of our Northern Culture and soul.  It is a unique collection of artist’s impressions that make a Northern Perspective worthy of reflecting on.

All works are for sale.
