Mon-Fri 10am-5pm; Sat 10am-4pm; Sun 11am-4pm

This exhibition brings together objects in the museum’s World Cultures collections with contemporary works by artist Rebecca Jewell, whose interest in both the natural world and human cultures meet in her artistic examination of natural history specimens and museum artefacts. The artist uses historical illustrations by 18th and 19th century artists and explorers and transfers these onto feathers using a paper-litho process, which then take on new form and meaning through a new medium.
