As part of our Alice in Wonderland season, join Muddy Fingers Pottery at the Laing for an very curious teapot making session.

All materials, equipment and firings are provided for you to create a handmade teapot, and the Laing provides the inspiration for this creative, curious and adventurous afternoon.

With two expert tutors on hand to advise and inspire, you will make a two cup teapot of your own design during the afternoon session.

Learn how to decorate and assemble the various parts of your teapot, which will then be taken back to Muddy Fingers Pottery to be fired and glazed in a glaze of your choice. The teapots will be dropped back off at the Laing art gallery around three weeks later for you to pick up and be amazed at how talented and creative you are!

No experience necessary but we do ask that you are over 16 years old.

Booking is essential – book online or at the Laing Art Gallery.

Saturdays 11 June, 16 July and 24 September are now fully booked.
