£4, Payable Via Eventbrite. Tickets On Sale 5 July

Newcastle is famous for its public houses, beer and breweries; join Andrew Clarke to celebrate this rich history. Listen to ‘pub tales’ – stories of individual pubs, landlords behind the bar, and customers enjoying a drink or even going on a charabanc trip.

This event is part of Talks on Tyne: a collaboration between Newcastle Castle, Tyne Bridge Publishing and Newcastle Libraries, connecting local authors and historians with their readers. This is the second Talks on Tyne, following a successful inaugural programme in 2016, during which many of the events sold out.

The Black Gate has a lift and is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Refreshments – including tea and coffee – will be available to purchase at this event.

Tickets for this talk will go on sale at 12 midday on Wednesday 5 July, via the link below.
