The Treasures of St Cuthbert are some of the most significant surviving Anglo-Saxon artefacts in the UK, including St Cuthbert’s preserved wooden coffin, his gold and garnet pectoral cross, ivory comb, portable altar and 10th-century embroidered silks gifted to St Cuthbert’s tomb. See these remarkable objects on permanent display in the spectacular Great Kitchen, part of Open Treasure, from 29 July.

Also on display will be other significant artefacts from the Cathedral’s internationally renowned collection, including the original Sanctuary Ring.
