Cherryburn, Northumberland is the birthplace of Thomas Bewick, Northumbria’s greatest artist, wood engraver and naturalist. This 19th century farmhouse, owned and run by the National Trust and open to the public, houses a small exhibition of Bewick’s life and work, a print workshop and regular printing demonstrations.
