View contemporary art in outbuildings, find sculptures on the moors, listen to artists’ talks, or be creative with drop-in art activity suitable for all ages. You can also see our outdoor earth oven in use, and enjoy all events, refreshments and activities for FREE in celebration of Great Northumberland 2018.

Exhibition open: 1 – 6pm. End of residency Exhibition by VARC Artist in Residence Joo-Hee Yang. And in a derelict cottage on site ‘ No.3: stories in a house retold’, artwork by Karen Melvin, Claudia Sacher and Grace Warde-Aldam inspired by the atmosphere of an uninhabited house.

Drop-in art activity with artist Megan Randall: 1pm – 6pm

Refreshments available throughout.

Go for a walk on the fells and find sculptures by past VARC artist Khosro Adibi.
