Durham Cathedral Choir directed by James Lancelot and early music virtuosi His Majesty’s Sagbutts and Cornetts perform a thrilling programme of Venetian music: Gabrieli, Lassus and Praetorius. Responding to the antiphonal music pioneered at the great St Mark’s Basilica in Venice, this concert will be performed all over Durham’s magnificent Cathedral to create a unique ‘surround sound’ experience.
