Shipley Art Gallery

In preparation for the start of the ever popular Shipley Lates again in August, you’re invited into Shipley after hours to enjoy two wonderfully relaxed evenings to soak in all the gallery has to offer.

Relax with a glass of something cold and view the exhibitions without the hustle and bustle of the day time passers-by. On 25 June enjoy a last chance to see the stunning Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2009 from the National Portrait Gallery. The exhibition closes on 27 June so this is the last (and only!) opportunity to view the exhibition in the evening.

If you enjoyed that one, you can return on 30 July and get an exclusive sneak peak at the new exhibition Craftivism out of hours. A very interactive exhibition, so be sure to have your creative thinking hats firmly on, and enjoy a drink to really get the creative juices flowing.

Both events are free and take place between 6.00pm and 10.00pm. For more information phone 0191 477 1495 or follow the link above
