Silversmith Les Howe and his wife Vivienne, an artist and card designer, will be demonstrating their skills in traditional crafts from 10am - 4pm in the Botanic Garden this weekend.
Les uses the inspiration of the cultural heritage of the north east to create his work and is a member of The Society of Northumbrian Craftsmen.
Viv uses technigues including parchment craft, decoupage and guilling as well as traditional watercolours and sketching to create her work. Viv has been drawing and painting since she was old enough tohold a pencil or brush. As a traditionally trained artist Viv works in many mediums including water-colour.
