A NEW hands-on play area at Life for under 7s.
Are you looking for exciting activities to enjoy with your little ones?  Visit Life’s new hands-on play area, specially designed for those under the age of 7.
 
The hands on play area lets children explore a garden with a tree house, a shop, a cafe and kitchen, and a recycling centre.  They can grow vegetables, prepare a meal, visit a cafe and sort out the rubbish for recycling. All everyday activities for grown ups- but all new when you’re 4!
 
It’s an exciting, stimulating and safe world where children get to take charge, learn new things and have fun.
 
The new play area is part of a wider range of activities for little ones. Young visitors can also enjoy a specially designed show in the North’s biggest planetarium and pick up a pre-school activity trail from reception.

Life is FREE for children aged 4 and under. Separate charges apply for pre school days.
 
Please read the following tips to ensure you get the most out of your time in the play area.
 
Tip 1: Do not take real food and drink into the play area.

Tip 2: During busy periods we may have to limit the time visitors spend in the play area to 30 minutes.
Tip 3: Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times.

Tip 4: Parents/guardians are to supervise their children at all times.

Tip 5: Feedback is always welcome. Please talk to a member of staff or complete a feedback card on your way out.
