National Glass Centre is able to deliver practical Continuing Professional Development sessions to groups of teachers from primary, secondary and special education schools.
Teachers will have a tour of NGC facilities and exhibitions before taking part in a hands-on glass making session delivered by one of our experienced team of artist educators. Artist Educators specialise in glass fusing, kiln forming, stained glass, glass painting, sandcasting, sandblasting and glass printing. Sessions can be tailored to a theme of your choice or developed with the NGC team with a focus on NGC’s exhibitions, arts, crafts, design, science, technology and the history of glass in Sunderland.
