Following the huge success of last September’s event, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival returns for its eighth annual celebration of the art of film – illuminating the whole town through premiere screenings, interactive installations and specially commissioned projections.
 
This year’s festival explores the relationship between the still image and the moving image, and showcasing artists who have crossed over from photography to filmmaking - and looking, as always, at where the boundaries blur.
 
Using Berwick itself as a set, the Festival programme – including an exciting line-up of film screenings, live events, the youth programme, and the artist trail – will spill out of The Maltings and into various heritage locations across the town.

INSTALLATIONS

As ever these screenings and installations are all located in unique historical spaces around Berwick-upon-Tweed and are open from 11:00 - 17:00 from Thursday 20th - Sunday 23rd September 2012. The Installations are FREE and there is no need to book.
