Creative Passions: Celebrating Literature in Portraits and Words

Times

10am - 5pm

Cost

Free Entry

Keen to help the Literary & Philosophical Society in Newcastle (the largest independent library outside London), photography student Donna-Lisa Healy invited authors, poets, playwrights and publishers to be photographed within the library, and soon found the likes of Melvyn Bragg and Kate Adie in front of her lens.
Creative Passions is more than just a snapshot of a year in the life of the Society, it is a record of the diversity of individuals and activity that is so much part of the Lit & Phil’s raison d’être: an independent space for thinking, conversation, and creativity.
