A farce by Ian Hornby.
This is an hilarious 'murder mystery' about a 'murder mystery' where Lady Amelia Squire, a latter day Agatha Christie, together with the idle, over-indulged Sir Malcolm, her friends, and the butler search for ideas for the latest plot. Meanwhile on stage one of the actors is shot. Who did it? Eventually the hapless police are rescued in their efforts by the cavalry riding over the hill in the form of the redoubtable Miss Marbles.
