In the town of Upper Crumble, everybody lives very ordinary lives. Babies are delivered to their new parents by stork, and made to live (until useful of course) in drawers. Then someone notices that a child that was here one minute is gone the next. Disappeared.
Told in operatic, gothic style, My Mother Told Me No To Stare is the story of a young boy who embarks on an extraordinary musical adventure to confront the horror of the fixing kitchen.
