The Laing Art Gallery is offering visitors the chance to learn more about the stories behind some of its best-loved paintings with a series of free talks. The Picture of the Month talks will focus on a different painting every month.
Julie Milne, curator of the Laing Art Gallery, says: 'There are so many fascinating stories and hidden facts behind the paintings on show at the Laing and these free tours will give people a chance to find out more about a different work of art each month.'

The talks are run by the Friends of the Laing and take place every Saturday at 11am with no booking required - meet in the Laing's Marble Hall to join in.
