El Alamein
Bryn Hammond's book, El Alamein (published in June 2012), is a fresh examination of events in the North African Campaign between July and November 1942. He will talk about his findings here, in particular using the experiences of participants to dismiss soe of the myths of the desert war and to underline its harsh realities.
