Hexham Abbey Festival 2012
HEXHAM ABBEY FESTIVAL : 60th ANNIVERSARY
9 days of concerts, arts exhibitions, street festival and more!
New Beginnings: In this Diamond Jubilee year of the Festival, there is an exciting array of events to capture the imagination, bringing the very best world-class musicians and artists to Hexham. There are a number of innovations this year, including the twilight concerts with pre-concert drinks, a celebrity organ recital and a leap to make the Festival truly international with the Amsterdam Cello Octet performing a World Première by Arvo Pärt.
As usual, the Abbey Fesitval is proud to welcome a number of illustrious local artists and young musicians to provide a fully rounded and memorable Festival.
