PREVIEW: Christmas lights switch on @ Manor Walks

Manor Walks Cramlington is inviting you to join its illuminating seasonal celebrations on Saturday 25th November between 10am and 4pm. The event, held in association with Heart FM and Cramlington Town Council, will feature a wide variety of festive family fun for all ages, including live music from brass and steel bands, mesmerising light-up stilt walkers, free face painting, dance performances, a mystery guest who will switch on the lights at 4pm and the exciting live final of Manor Walks’ singing competition, A Star is Born.
Heart FM’s Tom Campbell will host the switch on, located on the green between Manor Walks and Concordia, and visitors can experience the radio station’s photo booth and glitter station with the Heart FM Angels. Enjoy a special meet and greet with the Snow Sisters and their snowman friend including a ‘Let it Go’ sing-a-long with the Snow Queen herself – excellent fun for kids, and adults. Plus, children can visit Santa’s Grotto for free where they will meet Santa’s elves from his North Pole workshop and find out if they are on the naughty or nice list.
From 2pm, Tom Campbell will be sure to get you into the Christmas spirit on stage, with a mix festive music, games and of course giving you a chance to win some amazing prizes. To top off a spectaluar day, Tom will be joined on stage by a mystery guest as they hit the plunger and light up Cramlington to kick start Christmas!
The yuletide event marks the start of Manor Walks’ Christmas celebration, including Santa’s Grotto and a variety of free, fun festive craft workshops. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Manor Walks this Christmas. Plus, free parking will be available with additional overflow throughout the festive period.
With so much choice for festive and fun activities, Manor walks is the place you need to be on the 25th November. You can ensure the whole family will enjoy as there is something for every one. Finally, meet the mystery guest before illuminating Cramlington with the centres brand new and stunning Christmas Lights. There’ll also be the grand final of Manor Walks Cramlington’s, “Star is Born” singing competition, where one very lucky local finalist will win £500!
