The Courtyard café/bar based in the Arts Centre gives the visitor the opportunity to spend a morning or an afternoon at the centre enjoying a good value meal for lunch or dinner.
The bar is opens regular pub hours so visitors can relax and enjoy a drink in the Centre's picturesque surroundings.
If you are looking for an unusual gift or an original addition to your home the recently developed craft shop at the Arts Centre features a wide range of high quality craft work at affordable prices. On the first Saturday of every month from 10am, the Arts Centre stages the highly popular art and craft fair where you can find a range of hand-made goods from ceramics and glass-ware to jewellery and textiles.

If you are driving follow signs for District 7 and Fatfield. If you are travelling by public transport catch the M1 or M3 bus from Heworth Interchange or The Galleries, Washington. If you are on the coast to coast bike route you pass the Arts Centre on the way, so pop in.
