With the romanticism of Rachmaninov’s second piano sonata, stately poise of Haydn’s Sonata in C major and Debussy’s portrayal of a fireworks display in Paris, this promises to be an exhilarating and inspiring evening!  

The programme will include:

MENDELSSOHN – The Bee’s Wedding Op. 67, No. 4 (2′)
CHOPIN – Études, Op. 25 (30’)

DEBUSSY – Selection from Préludes (20’ – Voiles, Feuilles mortes, Feux d’artifice, La cathédrale engloutie, Les Collines d’Anacapri)
RIMSKY-KORSAKOV (arr. Rachmaninov) – Flight of the Bumblebee (2′)
RACHMANINOV – Piano Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor, Op. 36 (1931 version) (21’)
