Durham Blues Festival is back with a line-up of blues, rhythm and rock bands across two stages as the festival returns to Gala for a sixth year.

Main Stage headliners King King have swept through the British Blues scene like a breath of fresh air over the past year. Fronted by the charismatic bluesman Alan Nimmo (of Nimmo Bros fame) and with a line-up of top musicians, King King draw inspiration from BB King and Albert Collins to the shining lights of contemporary blues like Joe Bonamassa and John Mayer.

Joining King King on the Main Stage will be one of finest blues singers in the UK Connie Lush Band; the young gunslinger of bluesLaurence Jones; vintage rock-blues outfit Albany Downas well asSouthbound andBlues Boy Kings.

The line-up for the Blues Cafe Acoustic Stage includes headliner Howlin’ Mat, Richard Townend, Luey Zirius, Ged Wilson,Michael Woods andYoka & Big Ray.
