October is Family Arts Month and we would like you to take inspiration from J M W Turner’s moonlit watercolour painting of Shields, on the River Tyne to create your own watercolour painting. Be it river or seascape.

This session will be led by artist Susan Warlock.

Shields, on the River Tyne is on display at South Shields Museum & Art Gallery until 14 December.

Complete a Discover in a Day Arts Award by participating in this workshop. Arts Award Discover is a fantastic chance for you to get an award and a really cool certificate that you can show to your family, your teachers, and keep in your record of achievement. Arts Award booklets are available at the front desk. £6 fee covers all costs and our learning staff are on hand to help out!
