‘Flesh’ is an exhibition of mixed media works by eighteen-year-old Ashleigh Swain from Sunderland
The series ‘flesh’ started when I was exploring different ideas for my next project, however after education I have still carried on the series, I enjoyed the interesting aspects of creating mixed media pieces such as sculptures and paintings about our own bodies and the flesh that coats our bodies from birth to death. The series includes paintings and sculptures exploring all aspects of flesh such as tones and form.
