Facilitated sessions will run 10.30 am - 12.30 pm. They are all drop in.
There is no charge to attend but you can donate to the Butterfly Fund so that we can put more events like this on in future.
The Great North Museum: Hancock are hosting an event for Home Educators to bring their children along to the museum and take part in a series of free, drop in activities.
The activities will be aimed at children working at a key stage 2 level however we will aim to try and have alternative activity ideas for children working at a lower or higher level.
Confirmed activities include:
- Osteology handling in the Bones: Skeleton Secrets of the Animal World exhibition
- Gallery experiments from the Street Scientists
- Art activities with the Recycled Museum project
- STEAM with South Shields Museum
