Based in the north of England, this exciting and vibrant ensemble combines traditional folk music with bluegrass, classical and jazz influences.

Expect fiery jigs and reels on melodeon, fiddles, guitar and piano, interspersed with fresh reworkings of traditional and contemporary songs.

Northern Company are winners of the Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections 2016 and include students of traditional music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Newcastle University Folk degree.
