Reading for Faith
@ Durham CathedralBook Now
27 October 2016
The Reading for Faith book group began meeting in 2016 and will be continuing for another year. The group reads and discusses books which, while not all overtly Christian, raise Christian faith issues. It is led by Dr Gillian Boughton and Canon Rosalind Brown and, thanks to the hospitality of St John’s College, meets at St John’s College, South Bailey, Durham. The room will be confirmed later.
In 2016-17 we will meet on Thursdays from 6.15pm-7.15pm.
The proposed programme is:
27 October – Christopher Jamison, ‘Finding Sanctuary’
There will be an opportunity for group members to bring books they recommend for other people to look at.
If you are interested in joining and can commit to reading the books before the meeting and (as far as you know at this stage) coming to at least four of the five meetings, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0191 386 8669 to register interest.
We will then be in touch with more information about the first book, including questions to consider as you read. The books will be available from the Cathedral Shop.
