Ancient pots are filled with clues about the lives of the craftspeople that created them and used them.  Join Graham Taylor, a potter, experimental archaeologist, ancient pottery technology specialist and TV pottery expert to bring pots to life, recreating the processes that went into their manufacture and the part they played in peoples’ lives.

16+ No previous experience is required

Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

One day workshops:
15 June, 10am – 4pm  Roman Pottery Workshop , £35.
13 August, 10am – 4pm  Medieval Tiles Pottery Workshop,  £30.

Two day workshop:
23 & 24 October, 10am – 4pm each day Roman Samian Ware 2 day Workshop, £75.
