Sunday at the Seaside
Book Now

18 August 2019
12-4pm
£5 to enter sandcastle competition.
Take a trip down memory lane and join us for a good old fashioned family fun day at the seaside!
Go back to the past with Roker Pier and help to celebrate the Heritage Lottery funded restoration of the pier and lighthouse with music, childrens entertainers, face painting, punch and judy, storytelling and much more.
Or why not let your imagination run wild and take part in the Big Dig and build the sand castle of your dreams! Only £5 to enter and this includes your bucket and spade.
Alternatively take part in Katie Paterson’s nationwide event by creating sand sculptures in the shape of major global mountains. Roker beach is one of only 25 beaches taking part! (see www.ngca.co.uk for details on how to get involved and book a place).
