In this 1980s horror classic directed by Joel Schumacher, two brothers (Jason Patric and Corey Haim) move to a small town in California. They soon discover that their new home is a haven for vampires.

As well as seeing this iconic film in a beautifully unique setting, there’s also the chance to take in a jaw-dropping panoramic view of Newcastle and beyond before the film starts.

Steeped in history this imposing Norman fortress, is a rugged reminder of Northern England’s turbulent history.
