Join Cragside’s engineer Robin Wright on a 3-mile walk to hear all about William Armstrong and his lifelong passion for water power at the first place to be lit by hydroelectricity.

Dogs on leads are welcome.

Sign up at the shop. Meet under the arch at the Visitor Centre. Directions will be given at the Gate on arrival.

Suitable clothing and stout footwear required.
