Closing Date: 21 June 2017

We’ve teamed up with Dance City to bring you the amazing chance to be able to win a pair of tickets to see the National Youth Dance Company’s performance of ‘Tarantiseismic’ on Saturday 1st July!

The stunning National Youth Dance Company are returning to Dance City to perform a brand new work, ‘Tarantiseismic.’ Created by guest artistic director Damien Jalet, the new work sees 39 young dancers presenting a unique and captivating piece of theatre that looks at the themes of melancholia, ritual, control and abandon.

Using Jalet’s revered choreographic style and combining that with the pure raw energy of the young dancers, they’re set to produce a mesmerising experience that shifts the consciousness of the audience themselves.

This physically articulate tribe don’t need verbal language. Their exhilarated bodies convey all that’s necessary […] The choreographer Damien Jalet gives his young dancers a strong starting concept for this energetic, exhilarating show” — The Times (4 stars)

The company always sells out its performances, so Dance City are also introducing a matinee performance, but you could be in with the chance of seeing them in the flesh by entering our competition!
