Preview event Wednesday 20 March, 7 – 9pm

A group of artists discover what a fresh start means to them. This is about the act of anticipating the future by understanding the past, but what kind of future can we expect? This exhibition will mean many different things to the viewer and to the participating artists. We are all optimistic and want the best for ourselves and our families but is this realistic? What time scale do we consider? The last 100 years and the centenary events of 2018, our own time on this earth, the Brexit years, where do we start? What would our optimism embrace? To some people to “keep on keeping on” is enough, but to others huge changes are anticipated with big steps into a bright tomorrow. This exhibition might shock, or might change your viewpoint, or even move you in some way. Whatever it does, it will make you think.
