Join a family friendly torch lit trail through Auckland Castle’s acres of parkland, where visitors will be regaled with stories of historical figures and local legends.
Arts organisation, Daisy Arts, has collaborated with young performers from across County Durham to create a series of unique drama sketches, featuring mischievous tales and interesting comments from the Castle’s Zurbarán paintings, which will be performed throughout the evening.
Tours will run at regular intervals from 5.30pm until 7.45pm on Friday and Saturday, with younger visitors advised to attend before 7pm.
The full trail takes around 40 minutes to complete and attendees are advised to bring a torch and dress appropriately for all weathers, with warm coats being essential, as well as suitable walking shoes or wellies.
