Fancy yourself as an archaeologist? To celebrate the festival of British Archaeology we want you to come and have a go at some of the tasks an archaeologist would carry out.

These include taking part in a mini dig, measuring and recording artefacts, interpreting a burial and learning about stratigraphy (that’s ‘layers of earth’ to you and me…)
