What is it?
Unleash your inner burlesque star in this two hour introductory burlesque workshop. Burlesque champions the glitz and glamour of the showgirl and celebrates the individual by welcoming all ladies of any age, shape, size and ability to embrace its charms. It is fantastic for a giggle, build self-confidence and channel your inner burlesque goddess.

Drawing inspiration from the burlesque stars of the golden age (Tempest Storm, Lili St Cyr) and the burlesque stars of today (Dita Von Teese, Dirty Martini), you will learn the beauty and the techniques of the tease, the peels and the sensuality of burlesque in a relaxed and friendly manner with other likeminded ladies.

All these fabulous techniques will be implemented into a full burlesque routine, learning the routine step by step as a group to really let your new found burlesque talent shine.

Who is it for?
Suitable for ladies of all levels

What should I wear?
Burlesque is all about individual expression and feeling fabulous, you are welcome to dress to impress with burlesque, taking inspiration from the vintage clothes of the 1950s. We do suggest that you wear comfortable clothes, such as leggings and a top/gym wear and comfortable shoes to begin with which are non-marking, so you can transform into a burlesque star throughout the session.

What should I bring?
Due to the nature of burlesque, various items are required to get the most out of your session.
Please bring:
Spare bra
Hold ups
Long gloves (with fingers)
Small heeled shoes
Nipple Tassels (worn outside of clothing)
If you do not have the items listed, we do have a limited number of gloves/hold ups/tassels you are welcome to borrow in the session.
