An association of amateur artists resident in the North East, Members are exhibiting work in various mediums including oils, acrylics, mixed media and watercolour.

Deerness Art Group is an association of amateur artists resident in the North East region. We draw our members from the Tyne to North Yorkshire. Our interests are painting related activities centred on developing our skills, knowledge and enjoyment from our hobby or semi-professional activities.

Our current base for regular monthly meetings is St Aidans Church Hall, Framwellgate Moor, Durham.
This is the first annual exhibition we have had at Biddick Arts Centre and we are excited at showing at this venue. We have received a warm welcome and look forward to a successful exhibition. Members are adopting various mediums this year including oils, acrylics and watercolour. We also have a member who specialises in silk printing. Many works, which are generally of local landscapes are for sale.
