Durham Book Festival

Book Now

09 October 2020 - 18 October 2020

In the light of the current global pandemic, we’ve taken the decision to move the 2020 Durham Book Festival online. We believe that now, more than ever, books can play an important role in providing solace, a sense of connection and in helping us make sense of the world. We’re working hard to put together an interesting, uplifting and inspiring digital programme, with content for all ages. We will also be running our Big and Little Read programmes this year and are working with our partners on a distribution plan for these books. We’re lucky to have the support of Durham County Council, Durham University and Arts Council England in order to make this all happen.

We’ll be launching our free digital programme on 10 September, please visit us then to find out who will be appearing and to book your tickets.
