The 9th instalment of our annual Sci Fi extravaganza, INVASION will take place on Sunday 22nd July.

Meet a host of science fiction characters ranging from Daleks to Doctors, Jedis to Jawas and many more! Do you or your family members love dressing up? Make sure you don your finest Sci Fi, Comic & Super Hero outfits for this brilliant and fun family day out!

Programme:

10am-4pm – Photos with the characters – Grab a photo with your favourite hero, villain, alien or monster.

10am-5pm – Sci-Fair – Pick up fun toys, collectables and sci-fi merchandise.

10am-5pm – Make your own Superhero Mask! Suggested donation applies.  This event is hosted by Woodhorn Museum and organised by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Admission: Invasion IX Admission is free, but parking charge- £5 per car applies. Invasion IX is one of the special selected community days when the Woodhorn Museum Membership Scheme does not apply.

Walking: It’s going to be a busy day, so if you can, why not consider walking to the event?

Main Car Parking: at the former ALCAN/Rio Tinto site with a Park & Ride service. Please follow signs. £5 per car. Allow up to 20 minutes for transfer.

Blue Badge/Accessible Parking: available at the Woodhorn Museum site £5 per car.
