This year, Chapterhouse Theatre Company is proud to be touring a production of Louisa May Alcott’s novel Little Women – our first theatrical foray into American literature. We are especially pleased to be bringing Little Women to audiences across the UK and Ireland in a significant year for gender equality and women’s rights. 2018 marks 100 years since women were granted the right to vote in the UK, and we are happy to continue producing shows that put women in centre-stage roles.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company is now in its 19th year of touring open-air theatre to stunning country houses, castles and heritage sites across the UK and Ireland. From the first year of performances at 30 venues with Romeo and Juliet in 2000, Chapterhouse now visits over 180 venues every year, and has become a greatly anticipated addition to thousands of theatre-goers’ calendars.

What Chapterhouse does is theatre at the coalface, carried by the power of acting… and they do it with distinction”The Stage
